INDOOR TRACK TAKES BNC WITH STRONG PERFORMANCES ACROSS THE LINEUP
DECEMBER 8 – STATEN ISLAND, NY – Andrew Boakye won the 55m and 200m on Monday to get BC off on the right foot in the Big North Conference 2024 Indoor Track Championships at Ocean Breeze.
Brendan O’Rourke picked up the mantle, taking top prize in the 800m and 1600m races. Preston Neal won the 3200 and the Crusaders 4x800m relay team took first. In the field events, Jason Lessieu won the Long and Triple Jump events and Travis Nodelman won the shotput.
As a team, the Crusaders defeated their four conference rivals, scoring 120 points. Paramus Catholic was second with 86, Don Bosco Prep finished third with 53, DePaul Catholic had 8 and St. Joseph Regional finished with four points.
