Crusader Entrepreneur Students Win 1st Place at Pitch Competition
ORADELL, NJ, December 14, 2023– Bergen Catholic students in Mr. Saunders’ Entrepreneurship classes recently attended a pitch competition hosted by St. John Vianney High School in Holmdel, NJ. Teams from 5 high schools competed in two categories: Business and Social Ventures.
Bergen Catholic won 1st place in the Social Venture category, as Crusaders J’Niles Simpson, Xavier Rizzo and Ian Smith pitched a short form content app which teaches teenagers financial literacy.
J’Niles Simpson and Noah Sim also tied for 1st place in a separate Networking Competition.
