ORADELL, NJ, January 30, 2026 – A group of Bergen Catholic students and faculty embarked on BC’s annual immersion service trip to Lima, Peru where the contingent of Crusaders helped to rebuild homes for those living in poverty, while also taking time to learn about the local culture and celebrate their Catholic faith.

During Catholic Schools Week and throughout the entire school year, the Bergen Catholic community collects money for their Missions program, with the donations going towards these relief efforts in Peru led by Edmund Rice Christian Brother schools. As we end Catholic Schools Week 2026, let us pray for all those who are in need of help, be inspired to lead and do good works to help the less fortunate, and to continue to live the mission of Catholic school education by being united in faith and community around the world.
