ORADELL, NJ, September 24, 2026 – Members of Bergen Catholic’s soccer program hosted a special dress down day where all Crusaders either donated boxes of cereal or gave a financial donation to help support the needy, while also getting the right to dress down during the school day. The financial donations will go towards buying more cereal, and the hundreds of boxes of cereal will then be donated to local food pantries connected to either Catholic parishes or charities in need.

This student-run and organized charity idea shows the ideals of service, leadership, and brotherhood on full display at Bergen Catholic, and adheres to the Essential Elements of an Edmund Rice Christian Brotherhood Education by standing in solidarity with those marginalized by poverty.
