To our Bergen Catholic community, 

It is with great sadness that I share the news of the passing of Claire Quinn.

Claire was a beloved member of the Bergen Catholic family whose kindness, generosity, and warmth touched the lives of so many within our community. She was an inspiration to countless Bergen Catholic families and made a lasting and deeply positive impact on our school.

Claire believed in the mission of Bergen Catholic and in the importance of providing young men with an education rooted in faith, character, brotherhood, and service. Her love for our school and the people who make up our community was evident in the many ways she supported and encouraged Bergen Catholic families, alumni and friends over the years.

Her legacy will live on through the Claire Quinn Endowed Scholarship, established by her family to provide tuition assistance to Bergen Catholic students and families in need. This is a beautiful way to honor Claire’s life and her generosity. Through this scholarship, her compassion and commitment to helping others will continue to make a difference in the lives of young men and their families for generations to come.

In lieu of flowers, Claire’s family has asked that those wishing to honor her memory consider making a donation to the Claire Quinn Endowed Scholarship at Bergen Catholic.

During this difficult time, I ask our entire Bergen Catholic community to keep Claire, her husband Mike, and their family in your thoughts and prayers. May God grant them strength and comfort, and may they find peace in knowing how deeply Claire was loved and how many lives she touched.

As a Catholic community, we are reminded of the promise of eternal life and the hope that comes from our faith. May we pray that Claire now rests in the loving arms of our Lord.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon her.
May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
