Mr. William J. Leonard, Jr. graduated from Bergen Catholic in 1978. Bill was co-captain of the 1977 cross country team that won the All-Groups Champion-ship; was ranked number one in N.J.; and received a National Top 25 ranking. Bill was a member of the Distance Medley Relay Team that garnered Third Team All-American status. As a First Team AlI-State Cross-Country harrier, Bill also earned All-County honors in Outdoor and Indoor Track, as well as Cross Country. Bill earned his B.A. from Lafayette College, where he competed in track for three seasons, qualifying for the IC4A in each year. Bill also holds an M.S. from Stevens Institute of Technology.
