Michael Ference, class of 1987, is a partner and chair of the executive committee of Sichenzia Ross Ference Carmel LLP, based in midtown Manhattan. Michael is a nationally recognized expert in the securities litigation and arbitration arenas. Michael has successfully represented clients in actions and investigations brought before governmental agencies and self-regulatory bodies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and various state agencies.
Michael was named an Andrew Carnegie Scholar and graduated in 1991 with University Honors and a B.S. in Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and received his MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University in 1992. Mr. Ference graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1995, where he was a member of the school’s Moot Court National Team and Moot Court Honor Society and received two Jacob Burns’ medals for academic excellence. Michael is also a member of the board of directors and acting president of the Demarest Athletic Association.
Michael resides in Demarest, NJ with his wife Noelle, and their three children Colin, Casey and Nicki.
