Mr. Adam Ackermann ‘00

Adam Ackermann is the Head of Treasury and Portfolio Management at Paxos. Paxos is a regulated blockchain infrastructure company that uses technology to tokenize, custody, trade and settle assets for enterprise customers. As Head of Treasury and Portfolio Management, Adam leads the team responsible for optimizing corporate assets, managing Paxos’ global banking infrastructure and implementing investment strategies and processes to meet regulatory and client goals. Adam oversees all allocation decisions for stablecoin reserve portfolios in accordance with Paxos’ portfolio management mandates and legal considerations within its global regulatory issuance framework.

Previously, Adam was a founding member, Co-Chief Operating Officer and Head of Asset Funding and Liquidity solutions for VaultLink, Inc. VaultLink is a PaaS crypto-asset and payments network for financial institutions and its customers to transfer value 24/7 while adhering to existing monetary transmission controls.

Prior to launching VaultLink, Adam was an Executive Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at JP Morgan Asset Management where he was responsible for the management of over $500 billion in public and private liquidity funds and bank products. At JP Morgan, Adam was an active member of risk, credit, compliance and trading oversight committees serving the nearly $1 trillion JP Morgan Global Liquidity business.

Adam is a 2000 graduate of Bergen Catholic where he served as captain of the football and wrestling teams. He is currently Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Bergen Catholic Board of Directors. He played college football at Fordham University where he earned a B.S. and MBA in Finance.

Adam resides in Charleston, South Carolina with his wife, Lauren, and their three children.
