Mission
Bergen Catholic High School is a diverse, Catholic community which prepares young men to become leaders by deepening religious faith, developing academic excellence, and strengthening social consciousness and responsibility in accordance with the Essential Elements of an Edmund Rice Christian Brother Education.
Statement Of Beliefs
To Deepen Religious Faith, we:
- Proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and evangelize our youth within the teachings and traditions of the Roman Catholic Church and Blessed Edmund Ignatius Rice.
- Stand in solidarity with those marginalized by poverty and injustice.
- Develop beliefs and values consistent with Christian discipleship.
- Provide opportunities to communicate with God through prayer, both personal and communal.
- We teach respect for all religions and spiritual traditions while reaffirming a Catholic community of faith.
To Develop Academic Excellence, we:
- Create and foster an environment where young men develop a lifelong passion for learning.
- Promote a holistic education by integrating academics, technology, leadership, service, artistic, and athletic opportunities.
