Preston Brady ’26 Named Eagle Scout
ORADELL, NJ, May 6, 2024– Congratulations to Bergen Catholic’s Preston Brady ’26 who recently earned his Eagle Scout badge. Brady has been the senior patrol leader the last three years for is troop in Ridgefield Park, as has been a part of the Cub and Boy Scouts since kindergarten.
Brady’s completed Eagle Scout project consisted of a renovation of the Community Food Pantry at St. Francis Church in Ridgefield Park. Brady worked with a contractor to put in new floors, ceilings, pain shelving and helped utilize the space at its next capacity. Brady created a food store component to the pantry for items that families can shop for, thus creating a sense of normalcy. The pantry was also expanded to offer hygiene, cleaning and pet supplies in addition to food for those in need. Congratulations to Preston Brady on becoming an Eagle Scout and for his works of service to people in need in his community.
